I saw a youtube video where someone demoed the NI Driver Plugin. I really liked what it did (especially when the envelope function was used), however I thought maybe the same could also be done with a melda plugin (I want to keep my plugin list short, less to maintain).
As far as I understood, what it does is basically using a distortion filter, where the frequency is triggered by some sort of envelope (maybe it is an envelope follower).
Does anybody know the plugin and has an idea how I could substitute it with a melda plug?

Sounds like MWobbler. You can get some nasty distortion out of it, has loads of filter types and it can be LFO/envelope controlled.

I'd indeed try MWobbler or MMultiBandDistortion or MAmp and just employ modulators. But I know nothing abou NI Driver really.
