Amazing work :D thank you so much! :tu:

Now there's a "Mini" skin that fits nicely on my screen, beautiful!

A couple of niggles:

I can't find any clues to which LFO is the polyphonic one and which one is the global one when I'm using one of each. For now I remember which settings I applied to which one, but should I recall the patch later down the line I might not recall that...

And if the EQ could become more convenient that would be great, I miss the values from the original and feel slightly lost at times. I'll just switch back to the original for any EQ adjustments, no biggie. I guess that may be more work than it's worth to improve it.

Again, thanks a bunch! :D

Global LFOs don't have any modulations, or Delay parameter. That said I have them in different color so it's easy to discern between them.

As far as EQ goes... Dunno if the EQ pane is the same width as the one in the default skin. If that's the case, then the values could be grafted back on there relatively easily.

I had a sneeking suspision I was missing something obvious... I'm so tired now it litterally hurts to think, keep waking up in the middle of the night for no good reason.. :?

Wonderful if it can be done, but it's certainly a great skin allready. :tu:

Groovy. 8) Like the colours on a sliding scale for the different frequencies too, makes it both tidier and better looking. Any chance we'll see something like this in the "official" Zebra Redux Mini? :) Guess drzhnn will have to answer that.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

You can already do that yourself in the .txt file, color definitions are there. Here are mine:

Code: Select all

You can also combine the colors of Redux UDH with Redux mini, UDH has the eq colored as well.

Same problems here, therefor I use Redux UDH with a different colour for the LfoG.

Just edit the Zebra2.txt, this line:

COLOUR name='lfog_bg' rgba='YOURCOLOUR'

(I'm not sure if the following line: COLOUR name='lfog_sub_bg'... has an effect too).

Post

lfog_sub_bg is a color for LFOG subpanel that opens up when the LFO shape is set to "user'.

Thanks for the info, wasn't sure what the recurring "_sub_" meant.

Zebra Redux Mini with UDH coloring is really awesome, this isn't just a skin, it's a whole new user experience for me. :tu:

There's one thing I'm not so fond of as far as Redux skin goes... it's the bottom labels in the XY pads. You can only see one line. If a patch has multi-line comments, you are forced to double-click to see it properly. Easy to enlarge that label, though.

Here's an idea on how to fill up that XY page on the Redux Mini, drzhnn! :)

Post

I'll look into it :)
