Awesome synth. Never had a sylenth in the first place, Just my trusty blue roland. Hive is a huge improvement and i intend to buy.

Sorry, big disappointment for me. Being a EDM dedicated synth, I expected a new generation synth based on wavetables to compete with Codex, Serum, ElectraX 2 or MPower Synth (and all those modern alternatives to Massive), and I know U-He's would have been the best one because no one can beat your sound quality. Hive appears retro to me (meaning it sounds like a Sylenth1 alternative, and Sylenth1 was last updated... ?...), and doesn't sound as amazing as other U-He products (yes, CPU friendly, I got it). I'll wait for next U-He release, hoping it might be a wavetable generation synth like Serum or something even better.

(edit : sorry, edited the unclear part instead of answering below, I'm not here to kill the party. My post expresses disappointment after waiting for something that hasn't come yet from U-He, not hate against this product that is certainly excellent for people who need it)

Tx your Sequence patch is pretty nifty too, great mod wheel stuff and it pummels the compressor, very good and dramatic.

Why don't we all here do all the factory patches before Urs and the team come back from their hols, nice surprise

im still not back and so pumped!

1. some say it can even do new age and other stuff? im no sound designer sadly

but ! if a synth or all synths give you the basics (VA Synth etc.) then you can do all you want dont you?

(except granular synthesis etc.).

2. ok alchemy, or better said camel audio are my beloved granular devs but i would just imagine U-he wold make a granular synth and spectral synth (p**s off izotope, yeah im censoring but it's my opinion sorry!) it would blow all away!

cannot wait to checkout your patches and play around and learn this synth!

oh 3. how can you link your pitch or mod whell to control a knob? im a bit confused how the mod section works.
