Everybody seem to make presets for Hive now...

But does it make sense when so many features will still be changed during the beta phase? Will the presets be upward compatible?

Hey Urs,

I have a few feature requests that would definitely set Hive apart, since so many people have been comparing it to Sylenth.

- Comb Filter as a filter option.
- FM option between Osc 1 and Osc 2
- Non tempo-sync option for the delay (I like to use very short stereo delays as a stereo widener). Also, if there was a "rate" knob in this hypothetical "non-synced" delay mode, it would be really cool to modulate that in the mod matrix for special effects.
- Some additional, more exotic oscillator waveforms. If you did that, I could contribute a few for you and save you some time.

If you are going to advertise Hive as also being good for dubstep or drum & bass, the osc FM, exotic waveforms and comb filter features would all help quite a lot in that area.

Or a formant filter: One could pick vowels for the six corners of the display and use a virtual joystick in the middle to morph between the vowels with the mouse

A bit like with Blarg, which I only bought for the formant crap

Formant (vocal) filters & comb filters & more wave forms is exactly what I asked for. Urs said he'll consider it...

Maybe a thread with a list of all feature requests - and a reply of Urs - would be great, so people wouldn't have to repeat the same feature requests over and over!

I love it and will be buying it somehow shortly. Will there be a smaller gui for 15" viewable laptop users that can't get any more than 1366 x 768? Right now it takes up exactly the entire screen vertically and is clipped by the windows taskbar, and maybe 7/8 the screen horizontally.

What material are the keys made of? I wash my hands regularly, yet after just one day the keys are already a bit grayish and dark

comb filter would be amazing indeed ! fm too

About hive , i don't know maybe it's just me but i find the lp24 a bit dark sounding .

Really like the band pass and lp 12 with some reso, sounded great on the few patchs i did.
