This is the sort of thing that makes me think the *master plan* may not so much be about selling u-he products to EDM oriented non nerds, but selling an EDM oriented product to u-he nerds

i don't know if it have been discussed but a great feature would be a A/b switch to the orignal preset for quick comparaison, a quick a/b would be a workflow improvment for guys like me who save many patchs for one presets , and i think it may lead to better programing as well making it easier for fine tuning .
Maybe it's already implemented? i should check manual before posting
going to read it..

You could be right. I have managed to resist Sylenth, Dune and Spire through the years without too much trouble, but will I be able to resist Hive?aMUSEd wrote:~Pd~ wrote:You know, chord editing and scale locking would be crazy cool with microtonal scales.Urs wrote:We can discuss it. Yeah, although I suspect the truth is probably somewhere in-between and that Hive is what people call a 'crossover' product - something that breaks barriers between what are normally fairly separate marketplace communities.lnikj wrote:You could be right. Not really a feature that matter with the quick presets switching even if it's not as easy.

Wow, GENIUS, I had to buy it!!!
Are MidiMaps on the horizon? 2 MidiMaps for further Modulation would be the cherry on the cake!!!
Hive and ACE are now my favourite synths, hands down!!!

But then a strange fear gripped me

I've been asking for this for all u-he synths for a good while. Having to save multiple tweaked versions of a patch (which subsequently need deleting) is a really clunky way of doing things.

May be it's just me, but I still think that the most intuitive U-he synth is Zebra - so many abilities at one place - it is very easy to see all things together.Noizanthrope wrote:This synth is so intuitive!
While I love Hive, I don't like such hysteria around it (and Diva too) - what if U-he decides that it is much more advantageous to make synths with a fixed audioflow and simple sweetspot-based interface? Yes, they have very good sales, extremely good responses etc. Compare with brilliant Zebra - there are so many people that just afraid it, or say that it has a bad sound.

No worries. Zebra is and stays our flagship synth.trance_lucent wrote:May be it's just me, but I still think that the most intuitive U-he synth is Zebra - so many abilities at one place - it is very easy to see all things together.Noizanthrope wrote:This synth is so intuitive!

I agree. Zebra stay absolute reference for me too, clearly the "must-have".
However, I must admit that DIVA make me hysterical for the sound: insane!
After that, I really enjoy playing with others u-he-babies (Bazille, ACE and now Hive). Different feeling and different philosophy.
