Hi everyone, i hope somebody can help me...

I bought Synthmaster and use it with Cubase 7 El. It works fine with the standard ASIO drivers (onboardsound).

But if i try to open a Synthmaster including project by using the Yamaha ASIO drivers (USB audio interface) Cubase freezes.

If i start Cubase with standard ASIO, then loading the project and after that changing to Yamaha ASIO it works!

i updatet all drivers, firmware, cubase to lates versions.

Lol. Sorry for laughing but Cubase 7 Elements freezes all the time for some strange reasons no one knows. I use it and I already started to regret that I have bought it. At least 5 times per day this program freezes and I have no idea why to hell. I use Cubase 7 Elements with Windows 7, 64bit version and I use the Asio4All Driver. Actually Synthmaster works fine on my system, no crashes.
So: Mostlikely it is not a Synthmaster problem, but more a Cubase problem, because as already said: It freezes at each and every opportunity. Sorry that I can`t tell you more. Maybe someone else has an idea. But I bet the problem is on the side of Cubase

My suggestion would be to ask this question also at the Cubase forums.

cubase works fine and synthmaster too, but both together dont like the yamaha asio at start.

ok, hope somebody can help me. if not, i accept this bug and switch to Y-asio drivers after running cubase.

Windows 8.1 with Steinberg UR28M interface (Yamaha hardware inside).
Cubase elements 7.0.80 64 bit.

What are the buffer sizes of Yamaha and Asio drivers they are same? If they are different, maybe the problem could be related to that. And what about for other VST's?

Also we are looking in to the problem too.

But keep in mind that we have tested different buffer sizes in different Daw's and we have seen no problem. I think your problem is related from your interface not from SynthMaster.

Today it works!
Yesterday ich changed the buffersize up to 768 samples but did not reload the project.
I will test this configuration the next days.
