I wanted to buy Hive, but it does not work for me. I do not know why. It does not work in Ardour and Renoise.

uriukti, do you have more details? Which distro? Does diva or zebra or ... works for you? ... can you provide more details please, because no one can help you with "it does not work"

Yes of course. My distro Ubuntu Studio 14.04 LTE, Ardour 3.5.403, Renoise 3.0.1, Zebra2 and Uhbik last modification work fine.

Hey,

Can you start renoise from the console, also create a file on your desktop called "Hive.log". Then can you go to the renoise preferences, rescan, then check if you see hive and if you can see it, try to load it.

If it failed again, can you give me the logs from the console and the logs in ~/Desktop/Hive.log? Thanks!

Hi, abique, would it be difficult to make test installers of
just Zebra, without the zebralette, zebrify etc, and also a couple
Uhbiks, as individuals? Reading various posts, it seams some apps do not
yet like vsts installed as 'multiples', for lack of a better word, or knowledge.
I think this may be getting fixed in new qtractor/ardour releases,
still some work/time before they are ready. Hope you enjoyed a well earned
holiday season!

I think that every host support vst shell plugins on linux now. So it is just a matter of updating packages and anyway I have not much time to do what you ask.

Uriukti, do you have a 64 bits installation or 32 bits ? If 64 bits I recommend you to install renoise 64 bits and try again.

My system is 32 bits, and renoise too. Hive is only 64? If so, then it's just my fault ... but Hive is beautiful, I saw it in YouTube.
When I installed the Hive, I did ./install.sh and all...

Hive should also work in 32bits, but I have not tried it. I'll check that tonight.
