Problem with Modular Area bigger than screen in MUX

In MUX I wanted to tweak behind the hood of the "Church Reverb" preset.

But when clicking the "Show Modular Area" button the area that comes up is bigger than my screen, so I can't access the menu line of that window, which is positioned "over the top" of my screen, so I can't shut the "Modular Area" window either.

Trying to use the mouse to move the window up or down seems not to work without having access to the top menu.

How to fix this? :help:

Thing is that sometimes MUX presets are saved on system x with a large monitor and opened on system y with a smaller monitor. Normally you should at least see one of the borders of that window, right? Alt+click that border and choose "Move to top-left", or any other relevant menu option. That should get you going.

You may remember I had similar issue Jo, would it be possible to have something like the "auto arrange" feature as there is for organising modules.

It's inevitable that there are users with different systems with different screen sizes. I think it's ok as it is: When a window really is outside the screen bounds it is automatically centered again, else it's position and size are preserved. Cause sometimes users move windows partially outside the screen to make space and so it would not be good to auto change that situation. Hope i explain well.

No problem, I guess it would be more prudent if anyone is going to share presets/MUX to simply move module windows more central before closing and saving them, what do you think

I tried that holding Alt and either left or right clicking the border of the Modular Area, but nothing happens, no menu option comes up.

I'm using a registered version of MUX Modular 6.1.32 (32 bit)

I am in FL studio 11.1 on Windows 7

It is not a major problem, I'll tinker a little with it to see if I can solve it, as I remember there was a portable app that fixed these kind of issues back in the day, I'll see if I can find that again.

Note that this "Alt+click on window border" trick only works for MuLab / MUX modular windows, not for the DAW window that hosts MUX Modular plug-in.

A solution would be perhaps to simply add a command to the contextual menu of the background, a command which automatically when chosen moves the window so that reappears the up-left corner of that window. And that command would be a general command for the "Window" object class... so that it is available whatever the window.

I say perhaps an idiocy... perhaps not. :D
