well, "Chur" is something completely off, and "Filthy" is something I'd expect from Olga. Great patch!
"Scarper" and the other 8bit style preset are also sweet. Scooby kicks ass.

Tell me, are you addicted to plucky/stabby sounds and big rising pads, or is this synth suggestive? That is serious question. :)

I only listened tried the presets bundled in the first post of the thread before, your pack certainly reveals more potential this synth has. I'll try to whip something up when I have some more time.

edit: also, Wai in the higher octaves is insanely fine.

edit2: Again, the interface is gorgeous on a retina displays, its making my eyes melt.

Thanks for checking out my bank ;)

I think it's a little of both. I use to be into trance and stuff like that in the late 90's and early 00's, so I have a bit of a liking to those sorts of things. Also, Hive does lend itself very well to that sort of thing. I know also, that the appeal of "the other synth" for certain people revolve around the large variety of presets. A big part of that is having, for instance, a large variety of plucks. Sure, one could change the and tweak the presets yourself, but if the combinations of waves and filters and so on have already been tweaked, and you have an abundance of variations, that's a plus in my book. As such I guess I'm catering to what I want in presets (track below from OSC comp, 42 instances (+ EQ and compression), under 50% cpu hit :o ) and what I think the likely target audience would want (I think the target audience is not the usual U-he fodder, so I'm thinking considering that, but also the normal U-he crew, who'd want some more interesting patches... also, I don't mean that in any condescending way, simply it's different demographics imo).

Thanks for the reply, makes a lot more sense now! :)
Also, nice track! What did you use for the drum sounds?

I'm still puzzled that this is an U-He synth. Not complaining though.

All sounds are Hive (including drums). Urs said he wanted to make a no fuss Supersaw beast, which was accessible (not a synth geek beast like Bazille, for instance)... so, Hive.

Wow, crazy. Awesome. :)

edit: one more thing, is it going to get the .tun file support like ACE? :/

That's a bit of an interesting one... from an OSC point of view. Usually those bits crushed vocal basses work better with squares, but ye, it's a bunch of unison saws in OSC 1, sine (for sub support in) in OSC 2. The trick is just using the "Corrode" dist (sample rate reduction) + LP filter on saws + high Res. cutoff is modulated by LFO + seq and the saws also have a pitch modulation at the start via mod 1 (patch is "Talky").

Urs said it's being considered, not set in stone, iirc.

Another beautiful pad, I can't wait to hear your final presets for the factory bank!

(Updated the beta .zip on the PatchLib)

Is the "Filter1: TypeMod" destination supposed to do anything? Playing around with the modwheel doesn't seem to work.
