Who is using Nora 2 in Logic or Cubase? I tried to set it up in Logic, but can't get Nora to talk to my soft synths. I set the soft synth midi channel to the same midi channel that I set Nora's 'pattern track' midi output to. I don't understand why I can't get it to communicate with the soft synth. I've been trying to get Cubase 8 (on OSX 10.8.5) to scan for VST plugins, but it crashes. I think that is just a Cubase 8/Mountain Lion issue, so I will try to see if it shows up in Cubase 7.

I'm not sure if this has been requested already (it probably was) but is there any chance that Nora will support 4 note chords in the future?
Thanks, it's a great tool!

Help, I'm unable to buy Nora. I keep filling out the account information; it says I already have an account, but I can't proceed past that page.squaredheads wrote:Just to remember, today is the last day for benefit from this promo
Edit: I figured it out finally.

Well thanks: you gave me hope and it finally worked with a gmail account; it wasn't working from my regular accounts probably because the domain was blacklisted. That's what Squareheads wrote to me. I sent the info to their IT guy, but he never got back. Personally, I think they need to do a better job on the clarity of the webpage. Anyway all done.Musical Gym wrote:Help, I'm unable to buy Nora. What I had to do was log in at the top of the page; then I was able to get to the actual purchase page for it.

i've found a bug on my Win XP PC: occasionally when dragging from the browser to the playlist, the computer will freeze and i have to do a hard reset. this usually occurs when i am dragging to another track in the playlist.
On my Win7 PC this has not occurred..yet.

Well, the extended Microsoft's XP support finished last year and I don't have any computer with XP to test it, but it's weird it's happening just in XP. Are anybody using XP and can confirm this problem?

Hi, I sent message but no reply yet. I'm a new user and am trying to figure out how to drag/drop several phrases to Nora timeline.
Each time I try to drag a second phrase, the first one is replaced.
Is there a way to drag more than one phrase onto Nora timeline (one at a time) without wiping out the currently loaded phrase?
This is probably simple, but I haven't found how to do it in the manual or videos yet.

Hi, I didn't read your message, where did you send it?
The way to do it is using the Playlist. If you drag from the Browser to the Phrase Editor, Nora understand you're replacing the contents. However, you may drag from the Browser (or another program section) to the Playlist and arrange your sequence of clips.
If you really need having two sequences in the same sequence, open the second one in a new slot, copy it entirely, and paste it at the end of the sequence you want to modify.
I'm thinking in a merging clips funcion for the playlist, however I don't know how the user would wish it, maybe selecting few patterns and using a menu entry? or something like a mouse shortcut?

Thanks for helping me understand better how to do it and for tips.squaredheads wrote:Hi, I didn't read your message, where did you send it?

I can't recommend the best way yet since I'm just learning it.
Could you make multiple selections using Shift-click (adjacent phrases) or Ctrl-click (non-adjacent) and then drag multiple phrases to proper destination? (just a newbie idea)
I think I sent the question to the wrong mailbox (licenses).
