That's fast! :D

I do not understand what you trying to say or/and why you changed my original text Complete to Komplete???
I guess you didn't understand the Alkemy joke either...
Maybe they should have changed their name to Kamel Audio!

No matter. But I really hope NI didn't buy them. (I don't feel like paying for a 199€ crossgrade or buying Komplete, to get v2.0 :x )

It's as much to do with users like me that bought Alchemy second hand

I got Alchemy second hand, and handful of soundsbanks that I've bought via CA sales, and Camel Credits.

All in all I don't think I've paid more than about $35 to Camel Audio for all that I've got

KVR: This is so sad! Camel Audio was the best company ever, and it's so not like the Camels to just up and leave without consulting their user base... Something dire must have happened! :( I hope they are okay. Or maybe Apple bought them. Whatever the case, we just hope they're okay, and they really would let us know everything if they could.

Camel Audio: We rich! We rich! Sold our shit to Apple and never have to deal with those whiny KVR assholes ever again! Wheeeeeeeeeeee! COKE PARTY
A well-behaved signature.

Did France adopt the Pound Sterling? Wow, I really missed something. :D
No, but England, Scotland, and I think North Ireland never adopted the Euro. And since I believe Camel's home base is Scotland I'm just not sure if the ruling includes them or not.

However, France is often a day or weekend trip for many in the UK as a short get-away. And when trouble of this kind effects one, they often effect the other.

To keep up the speculation, it stands to reason that a product like Alchemy would be purchased by Alembic.
Tangled roots perplex her ways.

I'm sure this must have been speculated at least a few times already but if there is a buy out IK Multimedia might be a likely suspect. They certainly have the resources and the fit might be good given the iOS apps and the fact that IK doesn't have a synth like Alchemy. I'd have mixed emotions if that did happen but it might benefit all concerned.....even the end user. Or it could be a complete circle f*ck.....who knows....that's my love/hate relationship with IK.
urrggh, I wouldnt wish that on anybody. Anyone but them! ;)

The company is *Apple*. Not "Mac". "Mac" cannot buy anything, short of accidentally triggering your Amazon 1-click buy-it-now button.

*If* Apple have bought them, it would be an end to Alchemy for sure. I think it's unlikely, but it happened with Redmatica, so who knows..? :shrugs:

Oh geez i think it might be apple. It just clicked. EXS24 is the most outdated sampler around.Perhaps Alchemy 2 had tech they wanted to merge with their redmatica tech. Doesn't bother me, i use logic.
It'll bother me if the product is $200. And the upgrade is $200. And the upgrade to the upgrade is $200. And the functionality is dumbed down. And...
You need to limit that rez, bro.

On a personal side note for me... the only reason I finally decided to register a profile at KVR was due to buying Alchemy.

Could be worse... UAD or AVID, and you'll have to buy their hardware to use it. :borg:

Christ...

Yes, the new EU VAT law affects them, they are in the EU... Scotland is in the EU... Adopting the Euro has nothing to do with it...

It's like the UEFA transfer window here in Europe.

Which club will Alchemy play for next? :D

Podolski went to Juve
