I am working with Tracktion 5, the 64bit version.

iZotope VST plugins won't load at all.

iZotope VST3 plugins load, but don't display any sort of GUI interface.

Toontrack Superior Drummer seems to forget it's preferences every time I load it.

Waves Tune crashes T5.

I like the new look and features. I used to use the pre-Mackie versions of Tracktion regularly. I had bought up to version 4 I believe, but never really used it. Now I'm tentatively back, hoping to be able to use some of my main plugins.

Why not contacting Waves support? Chances are that they will sort out some issue that prevents not only Waves plugins

I cannot load Arturia Matrix-12 V in Tracktion. Scanning or loading the plugin 'hangs' Tracktion. (Win 7-32 bit)

The other synths of the VCollection 4 do work OK with Tracktion.

Will also post this in the Arturia forum.

Sches' diversion seems not to load at all. Dragging it from explorer to the plugins tab in settings does nothing. It's my favorite plugin, so this is a showstopper.

Same problem here on Win7 32bit, only Matrix fails to be recognised by the scan

only tested this in the demo of T5, as i am a potential buyer, but it seems that T5 has issues with

Plogue chipspeech

sometimes T5 freezes when I want to open the GUI. Anyone else here to confirm this?

Win7 x64, Tracktion5 and 6.

Waves Gold and some other Waves bits 'unshelled' via the xlutop vst2shell program : for each plugin (when there are Mono, Stereo, MonoStereo, yadda yadda variants of each plugin) the scan will always throw up an error dialogue indicating something has crashed. However at the end of the scan, almost all of the Waves plugins seem to be listed as viable, and the one or two that arent can be sorted by a rescan. That is, -except- for the IR-L Full Stereo variant. The other variants of IR-L work fine, but no matter what I do, this one stays disabled.

Just thought I'd revive this thread . Why ? Becuase I've seen people complain about Tracktion not being compatible with there plugins , in some other threads at KVR outside the dedicated Tracktion forum . I haven't had any plugin issues anymore , I had some issues with the drop down menus in Valhalla plugins , and some rendering problems with EZdrummer back in the early days of T4 , but they've been fixed since . So , Im not having any . Is anyone having any plugin issues anymore ?

I still get instant crashes every time I close any IK T-racks plugin on OSX. Crash log proved to be no use to TSC. I may reach out to IK and ask them to get a hold of TSC about it eventually.

While this issue was never really resolved, I found a workaround. I scanned the plugin in Tracktion 4 and then it worked fine in T5 & T6 ...
