And just so I'm not totally full of bad news here's my current patch kit. Up to 33 patches now, mostly ports or reinterpretations of patches from Diva and other synths. Aftertouch is now added to older patches as appropriate as I finally bought a keyboard with it supported (though I use an expression pedal for AT anyway), and a bit more logic to naming.
Supersedes the last patch bank I had up which I'll remove now.

Nice! Want to give a peek behind the curtain as to how you made the sound? Supersaw of course..but a little distortion and white noises on the top end? What engine did you use?opalsofmyear wrote:http://picosong.com/5KDL/

Bug maybe? In my ModMap I set the source to "Constant" and the target to "SEQ: Gate". If I turn the mod knob then there's no change in the sound. If I go and change the gate knob in the sequencer, magic, it works.

Yeah I can't get the gate to response to any modulation.Erkenfresh wrote:Bug maybe? In my ModMap I set the source to "Constant" and the target to "SEQ: Gate". If I turn the mod knob then there's no change in the sound. If I go and change the gate knob in the sequencer, magic, it works.

Bummer. It's not a big deal for "constant" since I can just modulate the gate knob directly. But if you wanted an LFO or the Amp or something, you'd be in trouble.

Well not a huge fan of U He clearly, tried it and get bored with it so quickly, surely a good alternative to sylenth1 as I can read almost everywhere on the forum, but I still prefer sylenth1, way more comfortable ( don't know if it's me ? ) now the thing I would have appreciated from these guys: an uninstaller as well, it costs nothing

Here's a fun trick -- the Juno 6 (and TAL U-No-LX) topology is such that it's a strict subset of Hive. Set the oscillators to Pulse/Subsquare/Saw/White, filters to hipass passing thru to and LP24 and use the 2nd envelopes and you've got the whole Juno.
Now, break out the wheel or pedal and with the mod matrix you can morph between just about any two Juno patches.

May have to compromise on effects lest you run out of mod slots but I think it could be worth it. And with the envelope converter I posted the other week you could probably also morph between some other simple older synths -- Polysix and Prophet 5 (without cross mod) come to mind.
Here's a proof of concept with a drab French Horn patch and a wild (80's wild at least) pad.

Someone asked for a global volume allowed as a mod destination - I want it too. Very useful for fake sidechaining.

What's your opinion on having Delay after Chorus in the fx section? Would anyone prefer to have chorus first?

You can rearrange the order of the effects by dragging and dropping them in the effects section.rod_zero wrote:What's your opinion on having Delay after Chorus in the fx section? Would anyone prefer to have chorus first?
