I have developed my new logo a lot and I think I may have found a finish point or at least seen the light at the end of the tunnel.

Here is the Image and please give constructive critisism and/or your own opinion so I can improve it.

Before you do so, I am an Electronic Dance Music Producer, therefore I made it fit to what I am doing by the modern look with the modern genre etc...

There is a plain proof image along with the final overall logo with the background etc...

Even if you don't/can't comment back, I thank you for your consideration of taking your time to read this post.

Cheers,

The logo looks nice, but without knowing what it's supposed to represent, it's hard to say if it captures the "image" you intended. For example, what do the red "E"s represent?

Otherwise, it does look nice!

Steve

EDIT: After reading that your name was "GRIEF3R", I thought I'd add that the logo doesn't necessarily represent the second "E" as a "3", the way your name is spelled. When I first read it, I read "Griefer", and while it made sense as a word, I still didn't quite get the "E"s. Now that I see that one of the "E"s should be a "3", I'm a bit more concerned that the logo--while still nice-looking--may not represent your overall image the way you want.

I hope that helps a bit. :?

I think I might experiment with only having the 2nd 'E' as red to indicate it as the '3'.

Either way, thank you A LOT for the feedback, I highly appreciate it!

Looks modern, so one of your goals is achieved.
Is the white space around that logo part of it? If so, I'd put some space left and right with the amount of the space between the single letters. And maybe remove some of the upper and lower wife space. If not, ignore :-)
Also, for me the F looks a bit funny because of the length of the upper line, it creates a lot of space at the bottom, looks like a hole there. Maybe try shortening the upper line a bit, don't know whether that'll work but worth a try. Or maybe put the whole logo in a black bordered box to stabilize it?
Very minor point, though and maybe purely subjective.

The one on soundcloud is the original ? That's the dogs bollocks ! So I've decided not to give my opinion on the logo on twitter.

I would not want the word grief in my logo :hihi: Except maybe if I had a funeral service 8)

I think it looks modern. Black and red you can't really go wrong there. I'm unclear what the e's represent or bars. Are they red for a reason or is that purely aesthetic?

I'm not too mad on the font tbh, it's a bit cluttered, and at a smaller size it would be hard to read. I think you could space the letters out a bit further. There's virtually no negative space between each letter.
I will take the Lord's name in vain, whenever I want. Hail Satan! And his little goblins too.

ummm....i guess its fine. im not sure it really says anything...other than your name of course. im not a fan of logos that are just the name written out anyway. i prefer symbols as logos (as you might be able to tell), but thats personal opinion. this logo looks pretty standard to me and i dont get any kind of message from it.

from wiki: "[a logo] requires a clear idea about the concept and values of the brand as well as understanding of the consumer or target group."

grief3r comes across more like a gamer handle than a music project...but again...thats just my opinion.

its not a "bad" logo...just seems pretty ordinary.

I think there should be some sort of mark to differentiate the E from the 3.

simply cutting off the rest of the r from the vertical line would mirror the "e" from the other side and imply its backwards and therefore a "3" since thats how hes spelling it.

like so:

It looks pretty professional, I don't know any EDM groups, so not sure what the logos are normally like.

It seems good.

i don't like it at all. if anything, take a picture you like, and just cut out the shape with a vector editor. nobody will know where you jacked it but this logo looks an idea you thought of while sketching on a piece of lined paper in class

Yes. Now cut little rectangles out of the letters to make them look a bit more digital.

hows this? i left the red solid as its what draws the eye... i figured keeping it solid would make it stand out even more.

I think the main problem is that almost every letter has different width and the spaces between the letters are different - in this kind of a logo you need IMHO a consistent dimensions. I would leave only the second "e" (or 3) red. And - for me - the letter R is not very balanced, it looks crooked.
