Im using a Madrona Labs Soundplane with all the u-he synths (Diva,Bazille,Ace, Zebra & DZ and Hive).
Due to its continuous surface, when you use presets you want the pitchbend range to be the same size as the surface (or as close as possible), regardless of the 'type' or nature of the patch*, this allows continuous pitch slides to work correctly.
so there are two feature requests
a) a pitchbend range override, so I can lock the pitch bend range at (say) 24 up/down, regardless of what the patch is using.
b) an extended pitch bend range (for (a)), 48 would be useful, but ideally 96 (this would work for a full size haken continuum... i don't have one, but others do
) These 2 features (first is most useful) would help all (u-he) users of Madrona Labs Soundplane, Haken Continuum, Roli Seaboard and the Linnstrument. (a) would also be useful to Eigenharp users.
(currently: for each of these instruments, we have to edit each preset to max it match the PB range the controller is set to, OK when 'performing' but a bit of a pain when browsing thru presets and trying them out in a piece)
This would be make the u-he even more perfect
... which given there support for voice per channel, they are already the best choice as soft synths for these controllers .Thanks

* ok, perhaps sometimes you may want 0 pitch bend for percussion, but thats a 'special case', and one I can live with. (i.e. disable it temporarily in the controllers software)
