Probably the security setting in your Mac aren't allowing you to write a file into the Library. Do a google search on installing plug ins in the newer versions of OSX and you should find info on how to get around this.

Hive is working well for me, but after roughly 15 minutes, everything locks up like it's in some sort of demo mode. Is it supposed to do that? Mac OSX10.6.8, CubaseLE4.

Dunno if it's just me but is sylenth more.. Clear and crispier? Just feels like that sounds made with sylenth attack from speakers bit more aggressively than sounds from hive.

I know you've said that recommendation shouldn't involve knobs, but I actually missing FM modulation in Hive. If you are planning to add this, then taking this back. It would be cherry on the top of the cake.

Its Leopard 10.5.8

It could be done without adding knobs by adding oscillators as mod source and -destination.

I'm testing Hive right now in a project using Triplets.
It seems that you can't run the Sequencer or the ARP in other than straights in the TimeBase Clock sync!

Will triplets etc be added to the final version of Hive?

It's a buy for me if so.

Some of the synth sounds are very cool (reminds me of Talking Heads at times). Patch sharing?

I used Hive for at least an hour tonight. Even though the song I'm working on is getting more elaborate, it has not locked up at all today. Though this sometimes happens: can't completely close gui, you can sometimes only minimize it. This has happened to me a number of times on various days. Mac OSX10.6.8, CubaseLE4.
