IF they WERE concerned about their customers... they wouldn't have agreed to those terms or set different terms.
Lets be realistic shall we, how much negotiation could a little old Scotsman have against Apple and their legal department.
When did a Scotsman take over Camel Audio?

Agreed that we all have a price. Maybe just not the same one... :D
And perhaps he did negotiate, but the silence terms were one that he couldn't.

Oh I'm sorry, this was an assumption because he was based in Scotland.

I take it I was wrong here. I stand corrected.

Plenty.

They didn't have to sell... and they didn't have to agree to the terms set out by the buyers.

Apparently they were re-approached, so they were obviously in a good bargaining position.

Had it been me... I would've taken the option NOT TO PISS ON all my (ex) customers.
Bullshit.

You would have done the exact same thing for the $10m that's being touted as the sale price.
Well apparently you and I have different principles then.

Besides, I really doubt said buyer would walk away from the deal if Ben had insisted that keeping quiet was non-negotiable.

Enjoy your laughter. If this is how you get laughs, then enjoy the sound of a lonely smug laugh. While it lasts.

Your inner rage against 'the man' has deafened you to some exquisite sounds. That's your loss.

Slamming Simon, an artist who shares his amazing skills, creativity and artistry with us - at super reasonable prices, so we can explore and expand our own creativity, as mere 'preset salesman' is so far down the path of misguided malcontent misery that what you evoke is pity, not laughter.

Savour the bitterness - if that's what keeps you a happy and productive member of KVR.

That's precisely my point though, we don't know.
And until we know, I don't think we should be calling his business practices "shabby".

You've made your point and you're sticking by it.
