To echo some ideas of others prior, I believe the following to be the most likely, practical updates:

- Browser update with improved tagging system (Eric has mentioned this before, especially noting how much of a task it is. Could imagine having to re-tag thousands of presets. Especially if he tried to get 3rd party banks on board with the system too...)

- Trilian's macro knobs on Omnisphere.

- Stylus RMX update (or maybe even a new product all together?)- as it is the least revamped plugin of the trio. Naturally you'd think its time has come.

- New products all together (I believe I read on some forum of Eric hinting at this, but don't quote me.)

Other than that...we'll see this week :) Just crossing my fingers for sweet "VIP" customer deals

I vote nothing will happen. We are stuck with what we have.

My guess would be that *when* Spectrasonics have something new to announce, it will most likely be a complete update across the range of three instruments, with all new sizeable upgrades with significant new features and new sound content of course, *and* possibly a new instrument to add to them as well.

If their next product were simply an decent update to one product, eg Stylus RMX, it wouldn't have taken this long to release it...

I had to check myself when I first read this because I admit to chuckling (only for a couple of seconds).

I'm one of the very, very few that owns the two that almost exclusively uses Trilian outside of Omnisphere. When I don't I'm using the synth basses and am only vaguely aware of it.

Trilian's Main Page is different than Omni's which makes perfect sense, but I primarily use electric/acoustic basses and in Trilian I can dial up what I need much quicker than I can in Omni.

From a practical standpoint I can see how difficult (expensive) this would be for Spectrasonics to do. As we all know Omni has dsp functions Trilian doesn't, so allowing you to switch out parameters on it's Main Page would take a lot of time to program, but...

If we're strictly talking about just using Trilain's within Omnisphere (just another page) strictly for Trilian's library, then they'd have to reprogram the browser... uh, oh heck I don't know if this even worth it...

Well, I'm glad to see Trilian's Main Page get some love though. I agree with Eric (in the introductory vid) that the coolest thing about it is you can name any of the parameters anything you want to. I have a friend who said he names his based on observations about his mother-in-law :D

Bass is all about attitude, lol.

Ohhh yeahh...

Does anyone remember what the price of Omnisphere was for users who had all of the products (iirc "VIP" is what they called it)? Was there a discount of sorts?

Here we go. Hold on to your hats.

Glad Eric has scotched the silly Camel Audio speculation good and early so we can get those particular howls of disappointment out of the way here and now - https://twitter.com/spectrasonics/statu ... 5881010176
