bug? 5.3.6 to 5.4.2 upgrade, lost directories for all previous projects

I just upgraded to 5.4.2 and Tracktion seems to have lost the directory path for all the previous projects I was working on. When I open 5.4.2, the left side is a blank slate (no projects to click on/open).

I can still find these projects on my computer, luckily, but it looks like I have to rebuild the file structure in Tracktion in order to see them.

the profile is stored in
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Tracktion 4

maybe you have switched the user?
