Not on this one. Everyone gets the same deal on this one. It's a specialized product that is not as universal as our verbs. If you are deep into sound-design this product is invaluable. But if you are vocalist or a classical guitarist or whatever, it's maybe not as appealing?? It will eventually be part of a seperate "creative bundle" kind of thing.

But we have more great things planned for our verbs too, and Perfect Storm customers will get special deals on that as they become available hopefully later this year. We say that we believe that all customer should eventually be Perfect Storm customers. I believe that. I can't honestly say that I think that all our customers should be Kaleidoscope customers. It's just not as universal. But it's very unique at what it does. And for those who do "get it" it should hopefully become indispensable. That's the goal.

So there will be a separate creative bundle eventually when we make more creative products. But let's get this out the door first before we talk about that.

I turned oversampling off otherwise I couldn't get it playing without insanse glitches. Is there anything to try to bring the cpu down lower?

Oversampling offers only a very minor benefit to the Spring Resonator Modes, and no benefit at all to the FIR Resonator mode; it offers the most benefit to the String Resonator Modes. We therefore recommend simply running at 1X Oversampling for Real-Time use, and reserving Oversampling for Offline bounces.

Maybe we should consider removing ability to set OS at 2x and 4x for real-time to make this more clear?

(but it is possible to run even 4x OS will the max possible settings real-time on very fast xeon machines like the Mac Pro I have if you are doing sound-design as a separate process in a host like SF, where this is the only thing going on... so sound-desigers might like this ability.)

Anyway the point is: in DAW use don't use OS for real-time. Set it to 1x.

...And for the best performance set the KS Buffer and your host buffer to max.

I own B2 and I'm thinking about adding Aether... Just wondering if there are any options to upgrade from B2 to the Perfect Storm with my kaleidoscope purchase?

On the kaleidoscope main web page when I press the 'Play' indicator to hear the demo, the page advances to Breeze and I lose the player- a bit strange.

This is in Chrome. Something is wrong there.

The latest Firefox is OK, but Chrome Version 40.0.2214.85 beta-m (64-bit) fails on two of my computers.

For me, it also goes to Breeze on the latest Firefox and in Safari for iPad (iOS 8.x). The Soundcloud links are fine though.
