Bug: MAutoAlign makes Pro Tools run out of CPU power in simple session

MAutoAlign makes Pro Tools run out of CPU power in simple session.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a 24bit/44K1 session with 10 x mono audio tracks.
2. Place audio on all tracks, for example a drumkit spread out on the 10 tracks.
3. Instantiate MAutoAlign on all tracks.
4. Open one instance of MAutoAlign and press play on the Pro Tools transport.
5. Press "Analyze" on the open MAutoAlign plug-in and let it analyze while playback is running.
Result
MAutoAlign will stop analysing prematurely and Pro Tools throws a CPU error:
Pro Tools ran out of CPU power. Try de-activating or removing Native plug-ins. (AAE -9173). Comments
Having fewer tracks, like 5, will fix the problem. I can't be absolutely sure that this is a bug in MAutoAlign, but the session is very simple and very light on CPU. I don't see this CPU error in other much more heavy sessions (with 50% CPU).
Reproducibility
100%
Build Number
MAutoAlign 8.10
Environment
Windows 7 Ultimate N, SP1
Platform: Pro Tools HD 11.3
Memory Mode: 64-bit
OS Language: English

6 tracks works fine.
Add one more to make it 7 and MAutoAlign acts up.

Thank you for the info. I'm aware of that, it's on the todo list. Most hosts handle the short gap well, PT not as always... Hopefully we'll be able to solve this.

Almost there
, the biggest major update ever
.
Audio engines in most hosts work well, PT's audio engine is inferior sadly...

You don't ever miss a chance to dis Pro Tools. Well, I guess it's well deserved, but it's what I'm using and with great satisfaction

Hehe yeah
. You know, I'm just always so disappointed how fragile that thing is. It's a self called "industry standard", yet it's so behind everything... They could even implement a submenues in plugin. They don't have a god damn check box for "don't disable idiotic message and stop the audio on overload"... Well, world isn't perfect
.

But they must be the best, they are so expensive....MeldaProduction wrote:Hehe yeah![]()

To be honest I doubt that they have a huge future in the music world. Looks like everyone is trying to leave the platform as soon as possible.
SOUND!
