Thanks guys. PadShop Pro isn't as expensive as for some reason I thought it was, $ 79.99, don't see any sign that's a sale price. May need to investigate...
Not that I don't enjoy Mangle!

Sorry to say man, but you didn't try hard enough or didn't use it correctly… You can even create a drone out of a 0.5 sec. click! Padshop is fantastic at grains.Caine123 wrote:i need to re-demo padshop (ask steinberg for new trial time) cause when i used it it wasnt creating nice deep drones.

i know i will have trouble affording the upgrade, so it makes sense not to dilute those funds on other tools in the meantime

IM SO PUMPED, cause omnisphere is my go to for a lot of needs!el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote:well, now omnisphere 2 has been revealed, i think my very basic granular needs will be met (with very pleasant results indeed)
but the granular synthesis seems to be still nothing compared to alchemy etc. no loop points etc. so it still isnt my choice for granular synths

Granular display doesn't even show the loaded sample, do you need to search for particular piece of sound by ear.Caine123 wrote:IM SO PUMPED, cause omnisphere is my go to for a lot of needs!el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote:well, now omnisphere 2 has been revealed, i think my very basic granular needs will be met (with very pleasant results indeed)

don't you already have to search by ear ??DJ Warmonger wrote:Granular display doesn't even show the loaded sample, do you need to search for particular piece of sound by ear.
