$249 is a bit on the steep side for an upgrade. :( I'll still get it tho'.
Could imply a new steeper MSRP... $679.00 (w/o upgrade)?
That would be a considerable ouch.

Wow, now that's a truly amazing feature set. Wonder if you'd even need anything besides Omnisphere to make most kinds of music. :)

Btw, it's truly offtopic, but i had to laugh a bit when he said that they even had been in a "radioactive cave" for sampling stuff there. Wonder if he, or most people even realize that radioactivity is present everywhere on earth, in some places even 50 or a hundred times as much as in most parts. Or that when you fly in an airplane, you get 30 times the radiaton you have on the ground, because a part of the radiation shield of the atmosphere is not present in such heights. Or that the core of the earth itself is in truth a nuclear power plant itself. Oh well... i guess radioactivity will always stay the big myth, that noone even wants to understand, because it's something you have to fear, because everything we don't fully understand will make us afraid.

Gold Coast sand makes a geiger counter go mental...yellowcake ore barely raises a knock.

Or even if you eat a carrot...
And then there's the arsenic...
And OT, a person doesn't need 98% of what the average KVRian has to make music.

Well I bought Omnisphere today from JRR. So I guess I am in for free upgrade. So EXCITED!!!!

Afaik, even the human (or animal) body itself contains some low radioactive materials. It's literally everywhere, it's a matter of the dose. But enough of that, back to Omnisphere. :P

This looks very very good!

Just when i thought i would not buy anything for some time, NAMM had to show up with all this fancy new things! :hihi:

I mean Omnisphere 2, MS20M kit, Prophet 6, damn!

I was wishing for a new virus to come up, but now i hope they do not release it for quite some time!

I really liked what i saw in the Omnisphere 2 video, great improvements, i just don´t like the price! :D

And so ends any speculation that they were the company that acquired Camel Audio. ;)

I noticed in the video that unison, harmonia, and granular now have their own tabs, rather than being mutually exclusive options under the multi tab in version 1. If all three can be used at once, I hope it doesn't push the cpu usage up too much.
I wish I could sing as well as the voices inside my head...
