Yup, congrats to Eric, loosing weight is not easy for many but it makes a world of difference when you do.

Just modulate the position with some synced env/seqCodestation wrote: Wonder if the granular engine will allow the same kind of position / timesynch one could do in Alchemy (for loops and stuff), to get things all tempo matched.

Last time (i'll admitt) i saw him year ago in video in he was much biggerATS wrote:Yup, congrats to Eric, loosing weight is not easy for many but it makes a world of difference when you do.
Anyway great new things.
Congrats Eric...
edit: video is great and straight to the point. No nonsense stuff. I wish everyone doing that but not everyone is Eric...

Apparently, only for the upgrade.aMUSEd wrote:afaik there's going to be a download option too
(It turned out to be quite hard to find a dealer in my country, I'm surprised because I had no problems with buying boxed Komplete in my local store)

There are a variety of other synths that have that feature... Arp Gate it is sometimes called. Hive is one example of a synth that has that.DJ Warmonger wrote:
However, modulating arpeggiator note length is a nice feature other synths are missing..
Also, you can get the same effect by controlling the decay on the amp envelope for synths that don't have that specific feature.

What is the source of that information?recursive one wrote:Apparently, only for the upgrade.aMUSEd wrote:afaik there's going to be a download option tooSo if one doesn't have Omisphere a boxed verison still has to be bought first
Only asking because I can't get Omnisphere in my country (no Omnisphere resellers), so it makes a world of difference if I have to get boxed O1 first in order to download O2

IMPRESSIVE
And best for me:
That's some very customer friendly upgrade path, even though I don't own Omnisphere, but Trilian
And best for me:
VIP Upgrade: $199 * - For customers who own Omnisphere, Trilian and Stylus RMX (Standard Licenses)

I love nothing more than wasting money on expensive international shipping and random customs taxes, for a software product, in year 2015.
Even if it's a 40GB download, it would be around $5 on AWS, and I'd happily pay $10 for a download option.
Why Spectrasonics still live in 1998 is a mystery to me
