Yep, without those extra channels of expression a lot of patches never shine. Only recently upgraded my Ableton Push controller with a third-party modwheel, but alas, I cannot use that and pitchbend at the same time.Too bad I haven't got a keyboard with aftertouch, let alone breath control and what not.
Still essential though, as is aftertouch in my opinion.
I've been looking around for standalone mod/pitchwheels and only Doepfer's little board comes up, but it's DIY and I would have no idea what I'd be doing.
For an Expression pedal Line 6's FBV mkii Express seems like a good choice, and TeControl's breath controllers...expensive though.
Anyway, I don't want to derail this thread, but I need more expression goddamnit, and cannot decide on a solution. Many instruments/presets without all the channels (PB/MW/AT/EX/BC) makes playing them kinda like playing guitar with unbendable strings, no pedals and one volume. You can still make perfectly fine music with it, but it's not all it can be...
