This one the best for me: http://www.arturia.com/beatstep-pro/overview

What about Launchpad Pro... Yes it's good but also you need Novation Launch Control because without radial knobs or faders Launchpad - piece of sh***. So then you need USB-hub or you need to replace your sound card from USB to FireWire and etc. They can do all in one but marketing is the god here :(

From Synthtopia:
...$499 Ableton Push and this $299 launchpad pro without a screen nor encoders nor advanced function that the push has such as muting parts in a drum rack and stuff … I’ll gladly give again those $200

For the price of the Launchpad Pro its pretty cool
Teenage Engineering was showing the pocket operators which look really cool, especially for the price
they just look kinda fragile to me and Im afraid id break it quickly

I think they are just prototypes that don't have cases yet.

Oh yeah, you're right.
by placing all vital and sensitive components under the LCD display there's no need for an outer case
They are so cheap though, no wonder. Maybe I'll grab one.

I've been dreaming about adding one of these next to my push.

That Samson controller looks really sick and it honestly could be my dream controller but I just don't know Samson for their midi controllers
and that K mix looks really cool, might pick one up and make it the center of my studio or live rig

Yeah, that Samson controller is nice. Even though my launchpad lacks knobs and velocity sensitivity I do like how it can be used as a keyboard fairly easily so it won't replace it for that... but there is something to be said for having all those controls in one small package for just $200

I love the beatstep and will probably toss money at the pro. Something about playing with a sequencer out-of-the-box is just plain fun and inspiring.
