COOL
Beta testing projected for end of feb
New buttons on top of the tracks in the arrange: "Project root?"
New editing buttons layout for layered editing - lock button and pen button. A lot of people were asking for this to be changed.
New buttons for convert track pitch bend in inspector
Groups within groups
Groups have their own scenes in clip launcher
Google failed to alert me

Seeing that browser I can't help but think I had some kinda influence on the way it looked
I sent them some mock ups on Dec 19th
who knows
they could have had the design months before I even said anything lol
regardless it looks great and I can't wait to use it!

But what i dont get is that poeple are whining that it isnt mindblowing...
What do you expect? A total overhaul???
I think BWS is mindblowing from the start!
And come on... group tracks, hot swap with presets and samples... the only DAW that really listen to its customers i think.. And it only gets better and better.. 1.2 is close!
Bring it on!! more then ready!!!

At first I thought it was like a list showing all the tracks and you could see the hierarchy through out the tracks, but then the macros...Ogopogo wrote:Also looks like selected devices now get info shown in the inspector

Maybe global modulators? like you put an LFO in a slot and then you can have it modulate anything in any track?

Not sure; you can see in the video that the inspector changes to that view when the polysynth is selected, so it might just be details for that particular device.
I just saw that the "tab" with the grid of dots is selected, and the grid of dots is the new icon for the macros view, so I'd bet that's just showing the macro for the currently selected device. Now I wonder what the other two tabs are with the arrows going to and from the circle. Routing info or something? Maybe that lets you control how midi and audio go through.

Hmmmm elsewhere in the video you can just see the edge of a textbox in the inspector device info. Is this for naming the preset? Or could it be for renaming the device itself, in which case crazyfiltertweaker would probably have a stroke or something.
