The albums that have stood out most for me:

Technimatic - Desire Paths
Tokyo Prose - Presence
Ghosts Of Paraguay - Ember
Royal Blood - Royal Blood
Mefjus - Emulation
Noisia - Purpose (EP)
Itch - The Deep End
State Of Mind - Eat The Rich

Wasn't that impressed with Syro considering his previous greatness. Overall i think it was a better year than average for drum & bass albums, maybe less so for other genres. I'm gonna have to check out some of the stuff in this thread i ain't heard.

I borrowed that from my library.

Was preconcived, thinking "what do the kids know about dnb these days anyway", but was happily surprised that it is as sophisticated a platter as the best releases from the mid-90's
