Very, very nice concept. Combining analog warmth and punch with a intuitive DAW like T5 could be a game changer for a lot of producers and engineers. I love that I can actually change the tubes without disassembling the unit. Maybe swap a 12au7 for more headroom and clarity or keep the ax7 for grit. It looks conspicuously like a Focusrite design; very much like my Scarlett 18i8.

I don't think this is true. I mean, WHY on EARTH would Jules and Co. sink money and time into a f**king AUDIO INTERFACE ?.
I can't imagine that they rolling in enough R&D capital to invest in a type of product that is beyond saturated market-wise.
Hardware, Sure; a USB Audio Interface....Don't think so.

Actually - this is the I/O we wanted to build for ourselves - having built I/O's for the major brands (Avid, Mackie etc) and studied the market for 15 years - it was actually a project we wanted to do as much for ourselves as for the few folk who would appreciate it. I agree the market for reasonable I/O's is swamped - and in fact we partner with some of those very companies

We focused on building the best audio path we could - this involves not one, but 2 of AKM's flagship ADC chips (running quad to stereo to gain dynamic range) - the ESS Sabre reference DAC (the worlds best and most hideously expensive DAC) - That Semiconductor super clean wide gain multi inputs - all with custom grown TCXO clocks - add to this the valve saturation circuit that Mike Soldano helped us craft and you end up with something quite special
Built entirely by us in low volumes here is Seattle in a gorgeous, heavy gauge copper case
This is not for everyone - just those of us who have been around the block a few times and are looking for an amazing sounding box with a creative flair - no mass market about this - pure AngloAmerican Hot Rod!
