Hello Tracktioneers

I am trying to install Steven Slate Trigger 2 on my DAW (W7, 8gigs RAM, 4690 cpu, T 5.4.2) and I'm having problems. I run the setup, it says it is ready to install then I click and POOF - the install window disappears and I can't find a .vst file anywhere and there's nothing in Progams and Features that says any Slate or Trigger software was installed.

If anyone has had success installing Trigger I'd like to hear from you. I have difficulty connecting with Slate Support because I start work at 10 AM east coast time and by the time I drive home it is 8 PM east coast time and 5 PM west coast time.

Slate Support goes home at 5PM PST and I'd rather not start an email dialogue with them because I'm installing from media they sent me and I'm starting to suspect that there may be a problem with the DVD so before I contact them I'd like to get some input from someone who was successful and try to rule out some variables based on your experience installing it.

BTW I hate dongles (ugh!) but I got an iLok for Melodyne Edit and didn't use it so I thought what the heck I'll go ahead and get Slate Trigger and use it there.

I completely forgot that I had responded to this only a couple of weeks ago. Too many tasks, too little time.

I posted the other thread. No luck. I was going to try the previous version of Trigger 2, but have not had any time to do so. Hopefully this weekend. Glad and sad Im not the only one
