Today I hooked up a Korg nanoKontrol2 to use with my Zebra's and other Libraries on my PT11 system and I finally got it working. So I pull up Zebra and go through setting paramaters to the nano and they worked like I had hoped, but before I ended the session to take a break I pulled up TDZ and as I was going through presets I noticed the sustain pedal was moving X1? Why would it do this on TDZ but not Zebra2? I struggle to understand midi and I don't know where to go fix this. Please help!

Sounds like accidental midi learn. Go to the X1 knob in the lower pane, right-click it and select "unlearn midi".

It was a midi learn. You're right and I did the unlearn function and it freed it. Thank you for your input!

The strange thing is I would restart Pro tools and reload TDZ and it was still doing it..I didn't know learning would stay the same when nothing was saved.

Anyway i have a fix for it so thanks!

Glad it fixed it.

Midi learn is saved by Zebra/TDZ and is global across all presets. That's why it persisted when you restarted Pro Tools.
