I know plenty of people have released plugs with Tracktionesque UIs, and you seem to be cool with this. How would you feel though about a set of Delphi custom Delphi widgets deliberately developed to mimic Tracktion widgets?
I started developing a set of replacement widgets for use in my own projects some time back (basically because I needed a handful of totally new widgets to do Rock's VSTtext plug). They seem pretty stable[1] though and I figure a few people could find a use for them. Would you have any objections to me making them available to other Delphi users for their Tracktion plugins?
[1] Though at current I don't have antialiasing support on text, and there are no drop shadow effects.

The Dashboard displays new mini-applications called widgets. They’re cool looking as well as handy: get quick stock quotes, check the time around the world or access Mac OS X application features such as an iTunes playback widget or an Address Book contact widget.

imitiation is the sincerest form of flattery, isn't it? Of course I don't mind!
I was actually hoping to have been able to publish my graphics library by now (under a kind of GPL license), but I've had so much else to do that it's been pushed back for a while..

Sorry mate. Even if I switch to C++, it's likely to be Borland's Builder, I have too much work invested in their libraries to completely break from the Borland world.Karbon L. Forms wrote: Delphi! f**king delphi! What about cross-platform!?!?

As soon as I get a spare minute. I got sick over the weekend, and not feeling in the mood to do anything useful for the last few days I have a busy week of catching up to do...Rack Bitz wrote:oh i forgot valley my man can we hook up
Nice. Email me the details (I'm much better at answering emails than I am scheduling time;) ).

Hey blame yourself. I'm trying to add a lowpass filter to it now.but i need that mono gate![]()
The arp is to unstable to release. If I get bored of doing widgets though, I might tidy up my pattern delay and send it to you (assuming I don't stop to add a lpf to that too).oh yeah and a beta of that arp![]()

Cool. If I can work out a half efficient way of doing transparencies and anti-aliasing in Delphi[1] I'll make them available to people (assuming they will be of use to anyone).jules wrote:imitiation is the sincerest form of flattery, isn't it? Of course I don't mind!
T2 is more important.I was actually hoping to have been able to publish my graphics library by now (under a kind of GPL license), but I've had so much else to do that it's been pushed back for a while..
I'm looking forward to seeing those libraries though.
[1] Is there a way of telling windows to treat a block of memory as a bitmap image?
