Hi.

Just a little background.

-Have owned every version of Tracktion since version 1.
-Left it during the fallow times with Mackie.
-Have since moved on to Cubase, DP, etc.
-Bought a new copy (not upgrade) of T4. (It had been so long, the price is so fair, and if it helps fund things a bit....)
-Upgraded to T5.
-Eager for T6.

Although I use Cubase and DP for most stuff now (am trying to get into video and game scoring as a second career), I've always really liked Tracktion and its ethos. It's so different, it makes me approach composing differently...and anything that does that is great in my book.

Now my question.....I want to avoid doing the "I-come-from-DAW-X-and-Tracktion-doesn't-do-this-thing-in-DAW-X-I-really-like-so-when-will-it?" thing, but ...

Is there a way to set up and save a folder with a multi-timbral instrument rack filter PLUS the audio tracks the VI outputs are assigned to so I can drag the whole kit and kaboodle into a project? For example, I have a multitimbral instrument set up in a rack filter for reuse, but after adding it to the project I always have to drag the filter on to each of the audio tracks and assign the outputs from the VI to the audio tracks (per the T4 manual for multi-out VIs). If I could save that entire rig (rack filter + audio tracks + assignments to audio tracks) and drag that whole thing in, I could set up a flexible orchestral template pretty quickly for example.

I'll have more in the coming days.

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately not possible atm but it's on the FR list and I do hope they will get to it soon.

If you have the whole setup in place, treat it as a template that you start from each time?
