In Moss's defense, he has pretty much done most of the dev since about October or November since I took on Maschine4Bitwig.The Mantra wrote:Shout out to moss and TeotiGraphix for this script!![]()
Thank you for your hard (free) work.
But, we did a lot of work together to get it off the ground!
Plus I basically told him now that we were into sub device nav and such, it is REALLY hard to work on this stuff tandem in javascript. Since it's not compiled and type safe, we would just be conflicting code every other day trying to work on those guts.

Hi guys,
Thank you for your effort to bring this fantastic script to us.
Just a curiosity, in the title post you say that it current covers 90% of push features in Live.
What is that 10% we are missing?
Thank you!

It's more like 95% by now, plus 20% additional stuff, makes 115% of Pushingeverasia wrote:Hi guys,

This is great
, Just got the Push and I'm glad to know that I will get the most out of it on Bitwig too, thanks to you.
So actually it seems that most of the missing features are actually because of some Bitwig API limitation.
Anyway I hope the devs will take care of this.
They should pay you really, full Push support is a bonus selling point
Ok maybe they won't give you any money, at least they could extend/improve the API asap to let you finish your great work.

In Bitwig's defense, they are working on this stuff ASAP. Since layer and sub device navigation is evolving with the DAW from 1.1-1.2 (multi-out, groups etc), this wasn't even possible when the script started in the DAW.everasia wrote: Ok maybe they won't give you any money, at least they could extend/improve the API asap to let you finish your great work.
Also, Volker is rocking the API with bug fixes and features, Drum support only came in 1.1. So I am sure everything that is asked for that makes sense will make it in.

For the brave at heart there is a new version on GitHub which is compatible with 1.1.6rc1.
It brings huge improvements for device, drum pad and layer navigation.
It has still some quirks left in that area but Bitwig is aware of them (no need to report).
Enjoy!

Just a Note for the Lemur Users: The Script works perfectly with the Shove Template for Lemur.
Only Issues i found: On the Push Sequencer the Displaying notes didn´t update correctly sometimes, means: You delete a note in the sequence but the coorosponding pad stays lit until you double tap it.
Also in the Bouncing Sequencer you have to double tap the bottom Row to switch off the corrosponding notes, single tap leads to a verry fast repeat (ok, that could be a planned feature, don´t know if it´s an issue or not).
But the Rest wors as it should. Really Nice work guys.

Are you using 1.1.6 RC1? The note sequencer bug was introduced in Bitwig 1.1 and has been fixed in 1.1.6.astartes wrote:Just a Note for the Lemur Users: The Script works perfectly with the Shove Template for Lemur.

We asked for this but it needs to be implemented natively on Bitwig's side, so there is no answer to a timeline as well as note API updates.freakydj wrote:Hi Moss, Do you have an idea when note repeat will be available? and been availble to control the postion of midi note on the grid?
