With the 1.01 update of the demo the cracks and pops seem to be much worse, unfortunately.
I'm using Cubase 5 (32-bit) with Windows 7 (64-bit), on an Intel i5-system. I'm well aware that the processor is below the recommendend specs, but with 1.00 the cracks and pops were reasonally acceptable.
I have no clue why the situation should be worse now. Any ideas?

Sorry, this is a question about B2. I downloaded the manual from the site and on the front page of the manual it's written "PRELIMINARY VERSION: 0.2 09/20/2012 - Manual will be continuously updated over the next couple weeks".
Is there a more up-to-date version available or it's the final one?
Also, on the web site, B2, Overview. The end is cut-off, the final sentence is "It is designed to inspire and stimulate in effort to co-create recordings and performances which stir"...
On the "Quality" tab, the "Interpolation.gif" image is missing.
Thanks!

Sorry if it was asked before but what program did you use to generate those images?

After a few days into exploring and learning ArtMatic, I can only say that KS and AM are the perfect match!

I'm using Max and Jitter to algorithmically generate shape fields, having pretty interesting results so far, mostly just experimenting with quads and lines so far...

I also have the problem with the degraded performance.jtenney wrote:Quick question about the 1.0.1 update: if it turns out to degrade performance for some reason, can I revert to 1.0.0 just by using the original installer?
Reverting to 1.0 should work fine, if you've got the installer. Unfortunately, I've overwritten the original installer...

By installing the update, you buffer sizes inside KS will probably have reset to 64 samples, that's what happened to me during the Beta and it took me a while to understand the decrease of performance. So please check your buffers.

Thanks for your assistance, Simon. I had already checked the buffers and tried different sizes. That's not the cause.Sampleconstruct wrote:By installing the update, you buffer sizes inside KS will probably have reset to 64 samples, that's what happened to me during the Beta and it took me a while to understand the decrease of performance. So strange, I have a Beta version here which Andrew issued some days ago and it drastically improved performance in my case. Maybe it's a Mac-Windows thing (I'm on Mac).welldone wrote:Thanks for your assistance, Simon. I had already checked the buffers and tried different sizes.
