How could MCompare help me do the following?

I would like to hear instant, level-matched A/B of whether the EQ or Comp changes I just performed (not with Melda plug-ins, unfortunately

) made the song/track sound better, or just louder. The MCompare x-fade time of 100 msec range is "instant" enough; having to print a track wouldn't qualify.

Simple - put one instance of MCompare before the eq/comp and set it to "Generate source 1". And then another MCompare after the eq/comp and click Source 1 button to A/B
