From a sounddesign perspective its nice with init preset. I dont like patches. Then you can go with nexus. Just switch preset if its booring. I dont care what preset it starts with though, for me it could be random, i want a init button though-..

i also hope that :D! cause sure from sound design perspective you get 97% crappy sounds but sometimes it inspires you or you get crazy fx stuff! i love gladiator for that and some other vsts.

I'm sure this has been answered, but when might we expect a VST3 version?

There are a small number of plugins for me that fail to load the GUI when launched, in Cubase 8.0.5, when the project exceeds about 4 to 5GB in ram (they all work fine in blank and small projects).

Unfortunately, all u-he products are on this shortlist for me.

The workaround, for Diva at least, is to use the VST3 version (64-bit of course).

I'm hoping Hive's VST3 version will provide similar relief.

Cubase 8.0.5 x64, Win 7 x64, Nvidia GTX 750, 16GB DDR3, VST2 x64 version of Hive (build 3304).

Im having a GUI issue in both cubase 8.05 as well. Ableton 9 too. When I load up HIVE for the first time it always loads the default 100% box but the actual synth portion appears zoomed. Closing and reopening solves the problem tho. Happens with Bazille demo aswell

osc1lfo wrote:Another issue observed on Mac. Moving the presets window when it is open causes the background to become less transparent. Occurs regardless of which of the Macbook Pro's GPU's are being used, the intel HD Graphics 3000, or the AMD Radeon 6770 M. 2012 Macbook Pro running Yosemite 10.10.2.

Same issue here on MacOS 10.6.8, Logic 9

except a init button i would want a fullscreen option that scales to the screen, we can allready choose from 70-200% percent but would be awesome with fullscreen option like fabfilter pro q2 offers

I really love Hive so far!

I have a couple of suggestions for the central hexagon

1. A XY pad (or pads) like Zebra

2. 8 programmable knobs

Thank you

The survey where you could get a $25 coupon isn't available anymore. To get Hive for the intro price of $99 no coupon is necessary.

I think that Hive should get some more filters. A comb filter would be awesome. Hive could have a couple more filters without increasing the complexity of the synth. IMO it's something to consider.

This relieved the permisisons issues, but it's brought on a page in the process that we can't get rid of. Whatever it is, I'm sure now that the problem is that we don't offer an application but a plug-in. Thing is, there is no option ever to install into user space, and with plug-ins there's naturally no option to install to custom locations on MacOS X. I think the tools are just not made for audio plug-ins.
Thanks for the reply.
Understood.
Luckily I might just be able to do an os upgrade with some additional ram to get me out of this situation soon.

Feature request: I'd like to have an additional voice mode that works like legato for overlapping notes, but, unlike legato, also has glide for non-overlapping notes.

Is double clicking the on screen keyboard supposed to lock or latch a note on? I'm finding (on Mac AU, in Logic) that I can't unlock/latch a key once I have done this. If it is a feature, it should easily unlock.

In related news, I purchased Hive.
