I wish you all happiness. And I also want to ask. Will the U-HE doing voice autotun? In future. Such as Melodin or Antares Autotun. Because these tools are rarely. But U-He will write it very well. I know.
And for Linux in general there is no such ... But i will understand if this is big secret.

Thanks!
I have no idea what the plans are for future developments. I recommend you to create a new topic to discuss such feature request, so you might get better answers.

zita-at1 and autotalent should be available in repositories, or easy to get/installuriukti wrote:I wish you all happiness. And I also want to ask. Will the U-HE doing voice autotun? In future. manually. While not backed by a business, they are made to correct
one voice at a time, as long as it's better than 'my voice'
An mp3 of autotalent in action is at

Thank you so much, glokraw. I will go to watch it. But I thought it would be good to make a good plugin, where there is a lot more user-friendly features. Such as working with timbre, intonation alignment. I record voices and sometimes in addition to not correct notes does not sound correct intonation. etc. But thanks for the help.

No, sorry, the u-he plugins seems to be compiled correctly. I think this error is caused by a peculiar behavior in Linux: If you load a shared library using the "initial-exec" ftls-model, all subsequent loaded libraries will use this model as well. The "initial-exec" model may cause thread local space to run out and could give the faulty impression that plugins using thread local variables are buggy. On my machine the problem was caused by an earlier loaded LADSPA plugin that depended on a shared library that most likely uses the "initial-exec" flag.kmatheussen wrote:On your part, it might work to use the "-ftls-model=global-dynamic" compiler option for the plugins, but I don't know if it will work. I guess it could lower the performance on the use of thread local variables if you use them a lot.
So the easy fix, at least in radium, is to detect the problem, and give an option to load VST plugins before LADSPA plugins.
But besides this problem, which is not your fault at all, the u-he plugins runs fine in Radium. (new version will be released today with support for vst shells)

Hey kmatheussen,
Thanks for the update, and congratulation for finding the root cause of your issue. I know it can be a difficult task
Super cool that everything works on radium, I should give it a try!
Cheers,
Alex.

I installed the presets now for Hive and it works like a charm.
Thank you very much abique for making these plugins avaiable for the linux platform. I'm so glad that more software is coming to the linux platform and it's big step in this direction. Thx a lot.
Btw: When i want to update to newer version do I just have to run the installer again from the new version or do I have to delet the old files? Will presets and favourites be kept?

Hi hihu,
You're welcome and thanks for you message
You just have to run the installer again to update, which basically just copies files into ~/.u-he/$product and set up symlinks in ~/.vst/u-he.
Regards,
Alex.

Good day!!! I work with HIVE and this is done very quickly. This is one of the main advantages HIVE. The entire interface is designed so that I can get the sound of the thoughts in the matter of seconds !!! And I do not forget the idea for this time. My job is fast and pleasant. And most importantly, I have time to translate into sound that I was given from above, without distortion. Thank U-HE and Abique!

Hello!
I reported a while back that for me presswerk's UI is sluggish, when turning knobs it lags. Also my computer starts lo lag (animations, switching workspaces, scrolling and so on), even after closing the UI. Delete the presswerk instance and it goes away.
However I noticed if I re-size the UI to something under 100% it almost goes away, turning knobs is smooth
I can add 3-4 instances in a session before I notice any lag (scrolling). DSP is < 15%
Setup:
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, 64-bit
8 Gb Ram
AMD A8-3870 4-core, 3.3Ghz
Ardour Nightly (3.5.4519)
Also when inserting any u-he plugin I get this:
[WARNING]: /home/ove/.u-he/Presswerk/Presswerk.64.so: is a VST >= 2.4 - this plugin may or may not function correctly with this version of Ardour.
Is this an Ardour problem or the plugins?
Thanks

I have these warnings too, when I try to start Ardour 3. I think/ I guess it means, that Ardours VST Support is based on an older version of the VST SDK, maybe 2.3.Code: Select all
[WARNING]: /home/ove/.u-he/Presswerk/Presswerk.64.so: is a VST >= 2.4 - this plugin may or may not function correctly with this version of Ardour.
But you can ignore this message as long as they work within the regular parameters.
