How do you punch in and out using Tracktion 5?

I know you are supposed to set mark in and mark out times and have punch enabled. I've created markers, but how do you set the punch in and out times?

set the playbar where you want the punch in and press I on the keyboard.
the same for punch out with O.
this will set your markers, enable punchrecording and record.
