Mdrumleveler natural results for MIDI?

I don't use real drums, just MIDI plugins, but I was wondering if this would give more natural results than editing in MIDI, say if I wrote the audio files, then edited with this plugin. That's been my question ever since the plugin came out. Guess I'd find out with the demo, but was wondering if you had any thoughts on that. Thanks.

Hmmm, well, I personally think you can get better results when it comes to improving performance directly using MIDI - e.g. Cubase has lots of MIDI plugins, MIDI compressor etc. On the other hand there are things like multiple velocity layers that are rather problematic without a dedicated plugin (and I don't think such thing exists, but I'm not sure). Also when controlling the envelope - such thing is not possible with MIDI, so you could either edit the sampler, or use MDrumLeveler
.

Yes, but it may take a little while.
