You gonna hate me... found other problem.

When you creating a sequencer player modul in modular and no other sequence have been made before you can only create a sequence by dragging à midi file .

Muclip cannot be dragged in Sequence cell in Sequencer player.

A new sequence can only be made when there are allready made sequences. Menu is not shown when no sequencer have been made before.

It would be nice to be able to stop sequence with start stop buton, rather muting the module when endless loop is
configurated for the sequence. I have made a panic shortcut meanwhile ;)

You can click the empty field, that will popup a context menu which also contains "New".

Post

New is not shown when not sequence in compose on a track

New and other selection is only visible when there is minimum 1 existing sequence
Context dont work at beging without seq.

ok i see. But frame dont allways pop up , it depend how you click, short or long click . This is the reason because i didnt show up on my computeri, 2 tests, and didnt expect context on left but. Have tried again with right click speed it works. But what about dragging Muclip

"Drag-dropping a MIDI or MuSequence file onto the sequence field will load that file into the sequence. " in doc

Post

Maybe i missunderstand something. Have found a empty sequence folder. But what kind of file is saved there ? Because sequence are saved in muclip by draggging them. I cannot drag a sequence from composer to the sequence folder. Im confused. Are there 2 kind of sequence ?

A long click is not a click, but the start of a drag, like anywhere. FYI: The drag detection time is defined by the double-click time on your system.

It's not a context menu but a popup list. But i can understand you right-clicked. Will check if this can be easily finetuned.
But what about dragging Muclip
That's not yet supported.

A MuSequence file is not the same as a MuClip file. The sequence player is about a sequence = MuSequence file. A MuClip file is the preset file for a sequence part and also includes sound data etc. The sequence player cannot produce audio, only events. Maybe in a future version MuClip files can also be dropped on places that expect a sequence, but that's not yet the case.

Did my previous (crossed) post explain it?

Post

A sequence is a sequence of events. It can also define a loop.

A sequence part is a composition part that plays a sequence from a certain position until a certain position, and also defines where the events should go to, i.e. it defines a target module. A sequence part is not a sequence, it uses a sequence.

Saving a sequence preset will result in a MuSequence file. Saving a sequence part preset will result in a MuClip file.

Crossing ....Thanks for explanation. I allway playing with midi instrument , so i was using muclip to save sequence. I'm not using lot audio.
I have found cell where to save sequence only yet. (frame down left) .

Post

Another way to save a sequence (not a sequence part) is right-click sequence part -> "Sequence" function group (=more below) -> Presets -> Save Preset As.
