I think I'll wait for an announcement before I do anything else.

If you click on cancel about 10 times it does go away, I was able to download, looks also like the upgrade is available so I think it is 99% ready, they are just dotting i's and crossing t's.

Downloaded and installed T6. Nice Logo. Thats the good.
Visually it seems to be absolutely the same as T5. Cannot see a new color theme by default.
Problem is: crashes every time I want to open a T5 project... It also crashes when trying to create a new edit. (Win 8.1 64 Bit)
Homepage is not really working. Cannot upgrade, Login field appears.
Sorry guys, but - as so often - immature. And promise things you cannot keep - not in quality and not in timeline. Perhaps better stay cool in the future and release a well tested version after 2 years?

I have to take a different view.mfkne wrote:Sorry guys, but - as so often - immature. And promise things you cannot keep - not in quality and not in timeline. Perhaps better stay cool in the future and release a well tested version after 2 years?
They haven't announced it yet. The site may well still be being coded. There are new features to come through the year. Most of us are keen to see what they might be.
I installed the download (on XP) and it says it's not a valid Win32 prog. W7 is okay with it.

Sure, but as a professional company you have to see what´s inside the company and what you have to communicate outside the company to the customers. F.e. you should only promise what you can keep (remember very late ARA implementation/timelines/still buggy plugin scan behaviour). And website updates are normally first published offline and checked before you publish them. Just a few examples.jabe wrote: I have to take a different view.

Don´t get me wrong - these guys are VERY kind and nice - but sometimes I personally miss a bit more professional behaviour which would lead to more trust in the product and the company.

Yep, same here - not a valid win32 prog; on XP 32-bit.
6-0.15, 32-bit. XP users might want to wait.

Fortunately for me the XP one isn't for music and is my main web/email one, so I often fire up Tracktion to see if I can help with queries on here.Peter Widdicombe wrote:Yep, same here - not a valid win32 prog; on XP 32-bit.

Okay, got it downloaded without any problems, but what's the upgrade path? Only upgrade options Im getting offered are 'Tracktion v5 upgrade' and 'Tracktion v5 + v6 combo upgrade' both for $30. Im already on T5.

Maybe that's for those still on T3 or T4 ? The combo may be both, so you have a stable and a soon-to-be-stable version ?
