A custom tuning file tuning the harmonics to the first 7 numbers from the Fibonacci series and 2 custom images are processing a C-majorish tremolo string/synth chord progression (MachFive/Ambient Strings):

This strange Fibonacci tuning becomes more obvious in this example:
...experiments, experiments, experiments - what day is it today?

the deeper I go into KS the less human vocabulary can describe the profound capabilities this technology has
all I can say is artmatic is the ultimate front end and any of the 2c verbs are the ultimate back end for KS
and tune it to A 432hz

KS into B2... K2 Creates a pulse using harmonic series variation tonality (prime) with additional harmonics added (will have the effect of using all harmonics, but those in prime set will be more duplicated than others). One image applied a 3-16th pulse that stops and repeats each measure. The other uses a seamless diagonal sweep image to provide some kind of "shepard tone" like seamless sweep which causes the harmonic content of the pulse to change... This fed into a B2 with a grainy-delay-like preset with a little more than 50% wet...
Then I duplicated the track. (copying both KS and B2). I lowered the picts of the second instance two octaves... I turned off the image that was supplying the pulse. Now I get just a drone that follows the same harmonic sweep as the first instance, but is two octaves lower... Then I change the B2 preset to some huge space preset and set to 100% wet and increase mod depth some to give a nice diffusion chorus done space...
mix. loop. stare into space and drool for a while...
This kind of thing is good to do in real world use. i.e. make variations of the same content and mix and cross-fade them... this is maybe not the coolest example in the world, but I just wanted to share the general idea...

I'm finding it hard to tear myself away from the Kaleidoscope, after 2 1/2 days of experimenting I thought if I could just get something worth posting that would release me so I could go out and check the air outside.. I went out and It was cold and already dark my heart wasn't into wandering around I really just wanted to keeping working with this crazy Kaleidoscope. I know I should not, that I should follow up on other duties, getting into Kaleidoscope again would be a mistake I really shouldn't but but it's sooo INTEResting, no I've got other duties, please I'll only work a little No, yes No yes No no NO, Yes, okay okay maybe just a little short tiny weenie itsy bits experiment, NO NO NO, hey come ON, fire it up resistance is FUTILE!

Well, Simon is pulling all-nighters, apparently... I can attest to its near-addictiveness too. Will there be a support group for us soon??TwoToneshuzz wrote:Thanks you!jtenney wrote:Very nice!!TwoToneshuzz wrote:My first published track using Kaleidoscope:
