So excited about T6, but so far every time I try to create or load a project, it immediately crashes and disappears. Any ideas?

Ok, deleting my plugin list and rescanning helped. I can now start T6, but Melodyne Edit 2 crashes and can't be used thereafter.

The Melodyne plugin deactivates, turns red in the list and has the following message in red: "Deactivated after failing to initialize correctly."

OK, Tracktion 6 is back to crashing as soon as I try to load a song. Hoping for good things next update.

Tell support@tracktion.com and attach your logfile. Include system details.

Ive had the same issue with it crashing every time i tried opening or creating an edit(i'm on windows 8.1 64 bit) Here's what i did in case it can help someone else. I went into Tracktion 5 first and cleared my plugin list completely(both vst and vst3). I then saved the user settings and closed out of 5. Then I opened 6 and before opening or creating any edits i did a full scan for vst plugins. After that I went into the finished plugin list and removed Melodyne editor 2. like others have said it seems to be an issue with Melodyne(or at least version 2 editor). So basically, if you can keep Tracktion from scanning it then you can at least run the program long enough to mess around until a fix is released. Since then, I have not had any issues myself with other plugins. Hope their is a solution for Melodyne soon though as the new ARA integration is one of Tracktion's big draws.

Yes, that seems to work for me as well, but frankly, I would rather have T5 with Melodyne ARA than the new features of T6 without it. Thanks so much for your post though. At least now I know it isn't just me.

Also, while I can now get T6 to work with my laptop's built in audio using ASIO4ALL, I cannot get it to work with my Roland Duo-Capture EX audio interface.

I will just keep using T5 and watching this board and the website for any new releases. I have no doubt that eventually it will work.

All the plugins that failed in T5 still seem to be failing in T6. I like Tracktion enough to just forgo most of them, but Melodyne Edit I really need.
