Difficulty is not the question. CPU-usage is.
We might add Sync as a waveform option to the sub oscillator. The CPU should be okay as long as it isn't herded in a unison oscillator. The whole concept of having a "mostly not unison" sub oscillator is about allowing us to add oscillator features or waveforms which wouldn't make sense for full fledged unison, or which would be too expensive to do so.

(because one things is sure: if there was a general sync option, someone would make a 64-synced-unison-sawtooth-oscillators-per-voice patch and complain about Hive's CPU usage :clown: )

You back from Australia? How was it, and where are the pics? I hear even the housecats are venomous down there.

(also I need to get around to updating that Juno patch set... I made the mistake of buying my first two hardware synths and wellllllp down the rabbit hole I go....)

I'm still down under, having a great time :) Met Andy of Cytomic last week. Might share a few pics on FB, but haven't taken all that many yet (it's more of a familiy visit than an adventure trip).

Oh yes, spotted a pretty huge lizard today. Haven not yet spotted any venomous spiders or snakes.

The notes you don't play creates the silent gaps for you to hear the notes you do play :phones:

That's because they spot you first.

haha, love the cat.

Here is an Ableton Live 9.1.7 Instrument Rack for Hive to use with the Push controller:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/nqgzxr

The rack = Live's Pitch and Arpeggiator MIDI effects, Hive, EQ8 subrack (custom EQ rack for nice and quick EQing). Hive's parameters have been configured for how I tend to use it when not creating patches - this is merely to alter already existing patches. It is in no way faster than using a mouse, but I do find it fun, especially when I'm sick of carefully dialing in patches and just wanna mess about. The first bank's filter mappings are always useful though. Nothing special here, just I already did the work, so some may find use for this.

Unfortunately one cannot rename banks yet on Push (unless you use Ubermap which bugs out massively for me), so:

Top level/Bank1 = the two filters
Bank2 = Oscillator 1 + sub
Bank3 = Oscillator 2 + sub
Bank4 = AmpEnv1 and 2
Bank5 = ModEnv1 and 2
Bank6 = Filter 1 and 2's LFO and ModEnv depth modulators and switches
Bank7 = LFO1 and 2 and all 4 envelopes' trigger modes (surprised you cannot yet MIDI map/configure Hive's LFO shapes)
Bank8 = Synth Engine and all the FX's dry/wet amounts (no EQ, we have EQ8 for that)
Bank9 = Arp and Sequencer settings
Bank10 and 11 = Sequencer Transposition
Bank12 and 13 = Sequencer Velocity
Bank14 and 15 = Sequencer CC
Bank16 = random leftovers

It would have been AWESOME if Ableton allowed us to name banks for Push. Hopefully in the future.

Some may find these mappings odd, especially in the way certain things are separated, but it works for me. Not all parameters have been included due to lack of space. I mainly use the Filter bank and the Transposition and Velocity banks - I find u-he's sequencers to be excellent springboards for melodic/rhythmic ideas and sketches.
