Hey thanks for trying to help, but none of what you described was lost on me. I'm a pretty savy computer user but the links etc. described above just leads me to chase my tail.

When I click the link 'I think I already have an account' it takes me to the place where my situation is not described. I get one of three options, none of which apply to my situation. I described this above. Again, I'm not trying to be a dick but if a dev would weigh in on this it would add so much clarity, because it is not at all clear how to proceed.

I just go in circles and there is no button that I can see that says "yes, i'd like a T5/T6 linux license, thanks", only add license so that I can upgrade to T5 (already there).

Again, I do thank you for your help, it just didn't help.

Thanks Chico, and I totally agree Macs are very nice computers, perhaps one day I will own one, just not thrilled with the 'required' OS upgrades so that browsers and such continue to work. I'd rather upgrade when I want to not because of a force upgrade where features no longer work until you pay the man.
