in my email I received a coupon code for The Air Music Tech bundle for $99 from Akai. It ambiguously says it is for users of the MPK and the MPD series.

I own neither, I typed in the code and it worked, but I haven't placed the order fearing that I will be screwed somehow.

anyone else use this and get the discount? How do they verify if you are an owner of an AKAI MPK or MPD controller?

I bought an Akai MPK261 and had to register it's serial number with Akai to get the bundled software which included Air Hybrid 3, Vacuum Pro and Loom. But I had problems with the installers, they use Pace and their "support" is non existent. I would steer clear of Air........

I have to disagree, Teksonik, nothing but good experiences with AIR support, particularly Simon Bangs

Agree w what Fleer said, specifically about Simon. I had problems getting authorized, but Simon went way far beyond the call of duty to put it right, I'm sorted, in spades. If you're having trouble, he's the guy, and I'd be very surprised if he couldn't get you squared away.

I always had great replies from Simon Bangs too. Great guy. He even answered me a couple of minutes after I wrote to him last Saturday night!

I didn't even have to deal with Simon, AIR support were very helpful when I dealt directly with them.
