Yes definitely one of the best, but I still prefer the original. I don´t mind if Sylenth comes with new skins as long as there´s the original.Teksonik wrote:Here:

And the enormous talent of LD leaving a good impression on potential customers continues...Skyre wrote:cranium wrote: That's all I can suggest really. I'm still hoping to hear back from Lennard about some official work. Started a PM a few months ago.
Seems you won't get an answer anyways...

I was considering remaking the original skin. Many people do still like it, and you have to factor in genuine nostalgia too. Sylenth has been a cornerstone in many people's projects over the years so it's often hard to let go of something associated with those good times.
I'd imagine that even if the color scheme remained the same, improvement of the general graphic quality could potentially unite a few opinions. So I'd keep the exact same style of knobs/sliders/buttons, but just redrawn to be sharper, cleaner, and more consistent. Would that be something you'd be interested in seeing? Or anybody else for that matter.

Just a little enhancement? I´m nostalgic about that original UI, but - yes why not..Skyre wrote:Cheers. =]sonicpowa wrote:Yes definitely one of the best, but I still prefer the original. I don´t mind if Sylenth comes with new skins as long as there´s the original.Teksonik wrote:Here:

Well, whenever it takes too long for Lance's FREE skin is done we have someone to blame nowTeksonik wrote:So you accepted a free copy of Dune 2 in return for doing a skin and you have not yet delivered. That's all I need to know and the point I was trying to make.
After reading your comments I won't blame him dropping any priority on it. Thanks!
Lance, take your time. I love your work and totally understand your reactions above.

Guess you can try and see it from the positive side: He also loves your work and is eager to have a Dune skin made by you. Shame it results in negative comments.Skyre wrote:Thank you, Mace, seriously.
I'm drained from all of this. Even after taking it to PM he's still tearing me apart.
@Teksonik. I've been nothing but honest with you and I just want us to get along. As I said, Satytunes and myself are different people with different lives. I don't have time to work as quickly as he does on unpaid work. I should also not feel guilty about being given a license as a gift. It's a perk I didn't ask for but often happens when you talk to people with respect. I do what I can with the time I have. PLEASE leave me alone.
Also I hope Lennard takes time to contact you because I think your skin would make a perfect default for the upcoming Sylenth update.
