There was a thread awhile back about unusual arpeggiators which turned me on to Tonecarver's Nova3, a generative sequencer. It's not at all like typical arps, but given that Live's arp is (in my experience from Live
a great typical arp, and you're finding it too basic, maybe you want something different. Nova can do all the usual fixed sequences, as well as evolving sequences, random-sounding sequences, and chord sequences. You have to think a little differently and use automation cleverly or record its output, but I find Nova a lot of fun.

Skipped through the vids on that Nova arp, it seems great, - am fearing its 32 bit only tho.
