Drop an audio file into live, map it up & down the keyboard.

Then.... use a utility like MidiPipe to split your controller's input so that you can control the audio clip and zebra at the same time.

Route your audio clip's track to the Zebra's input.

Try adding Zebra's OSC's with drum loops with Ring Mod for FX, or instrument notes with Ring Mod for creating new synth sounds...

You could even do this with 2 seperate audio files and XFade between them.

Zebra is now a time-stretched, sample playing/modulating synth!

Ah, cool, hehehe, great idea, so I put all my plans for a sample playback device to /dev/null

Or you play with it and decide to put Zebra OSC sample playback to /dev/disk0s1

Because it would be so cool

:D

PS- Is it just me or is the engage shaper in Zoyd much stronger than the ones in Zebra?

Yeah... that's possible... I think I tweaked it for Zebra so it runs faster and produces a little less aliasing... trade-offs... but you can still use Zoyd for that kind of noise ;)

btw. I have something way better in the works than sample playback. You'll see...

Cheers,
